Yields: 20 cookies
What You’ll Need:
2 cups whole grain spelt flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons Fresh Direct pumpkin pie spice
3/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup almond butter, pure almonds
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Coconut sugar for sprinkling (optional)
What to Do:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Combine dry ingredients, set aside
Combine wet ingredients and mix together with dry ingredients
Form small dough balls and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Gently flatten the tops of each cookie and sprinkle a bit of coconut sugar on each.
Bake for 12-14 minutes. Let cool few minutes before removing from tray and enjoying.
