We love this recipe because any veggies you have on hand will work well with the delicious turkey sausage!
What You’ll Need
2 large carrots
2 red potatoes
2 red peppers
1 head broccoli
16 ounces The Great American Turkey Company: Smoked Mozzarella & Broccoli Rabe Turkey Sausage
1/2 tablespoon dried basil
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated (optional)
4 and 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper
What To Do
Thinly slice the carrots. Chop the red potatoes, broccoli, and peppers into medium-sized pieces. Sauté potatoes first for about 5 minutes, then add red peppers and broccoli. Combine all of the seasonings and cook until veggies are tender. Preheat a non-stick or seasoned cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tsp. of olive oil. Add sausages to the heated skillet and cook, turning occasionally until browned. Add veggies and mix together. Remove from heat and top with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
