What You’ll Need:
1 pack Silver Fern Farms Ground Venison
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried chili flakes, plus extra for sprinkling
14 ounces (1/2 can) Muir Glen Organic Crushed Tomatoes with Basil
1 red bell pepper, deseeded and diced roughly
1 15-ounce can red kidney beans, washed, and drained
1 cup beef stock
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sour cream and fresh coriander leaves for serving
What to Do:
Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the ground venison in the oil, stirring, for 4-5 minutes until browned. Add onion, garlic, spices, and chili flakes. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
Add the crushed tomatoes, diced bell pepper, kidney beans, and stock, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Add in the salt.
Serve on freshly simmered spaghetti topped with sour cream, extra chili flakes, and chopped coriander leaves.
