These are not your average dinner rolls!
What You’ll Need:
What to Do:
Preheat your oven to 400°.
Open a can of your favorite crescent rolls. Roll the dough into one large ball.
Remove 2-inch chunks of dough and roll them into smaller balls and pat them flat.
Cover a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Lay the dough balls on the sheet, leaving space between each so there’s room for them to bake up in the oven.
Use a knife to cut 6 small slits into each dough but don’t cut all the way to the center. Whisk one egg and cover each dough ball with the egg wash. (If you want a sweeter roll, here’s where you could sprinkle cinnamon or pumpkin spice on top of your rolls.)
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
When finished, put a pecan in the center of each “pumpkin” roll and serve!
