Introducing a new reason to love latkes: Use them to make a sandwich. It’ll be the breakfast you’ll want to eat every day of Hanukkah and beyond.
What You’ll Need:
Sour cream and applesauce
What to Do:
Pre-heat your oven 325°F and heat the latkes for 10-15 minutes or until crispy and warm.
While your latkes are heating, cook an egg to your liking. (We like sunny side up because we’re all about that yolk life.)
With 1-2 minute left, place a slice of cheese on each latke and continue heating until the cheese is melted.
Remove the latkes and add the eggs. Top off your latke sandwich with another latke, and add sour cream and applesauce for garnish.
