The best dishes are the dishes that are versatile, like this one, which can be an appetizer or a savory side. Katja Sherlock of @NYC made crispy prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, which is super easy (only three ingredients!) and super tasty.
What You’ll Need:
24 green asparagus spears (about 1-inch thick stems work best)
24 thin slices of prosciutto
Olive oil for frying
What to Do:
Clean and trim the asparagus. Cut off dry ends.
Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each stem starting below the head. Work at an angle so that you cover the whole stem.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and start to fry the asparagus. Fry about 3-5 minutes over medium heat on each side until the prosciutto is crisp, and the asparagus is tender. Be careful not to overcook the asparagus.
