We’re super excited to announce a refresh of our bread selection. From all-natural loaves like Ultimate Grains to childhood faves like Wonder Bread, we’re confident you’ll love our new range. Check out the FAQs below for answers to any questions you may have.
Why has FreshDirect’s bread selection changed?
We wanted to refresh our current selection to bring you the most flavorful and popular bread brands around, which meant revamping our entire bread line.
How did you decide which breads to bring in?
Our expert merchants spent weeks tasting and evaluating hundreds of breads, searching for the tastiest in the bunch. The focus was on quality, flavor, and popularity, but it was also important to us to provide organic options—we kept and added classic favorites and brought in brand-new better-for-you brands like Ultimate Grains and Vermont.
What are better-for-you-breads?
Good question. These bread brands (Ultimate Grains and Vermont) offer high-quality all-natural ingredients without added preservatives.
You cut my favorite brand. What gives?
Refreshing our selection meant we had to take a hard look at all of our bread options. In order to make room for the new bread, we had to discontinue some brands. Rest assured we considered our new selection very carefully, and we’re sure you’ll be able to find a new bread that you’ll love just the same.
