A tailgate favorite gets an upgrade with bacon. So much bacon.
What You’ll Need:
3 ripe Avocados from Mexico
8 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 canned chipotle peppers, diced
3 tablespoons shallots, minced
2 garlic cloves, mashed
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
To taste: kosher salt, cracked black pepper, cumin
What to Do:
Prepare all of your ingredients: Cook the bacon, dice chipotle peppers, mine shallots, mash garlic, chop cilantro, dice tomatoes, and juice one lime.
Mash avocados in bowl with prepared shallots, garlic, lime juice, and cilantro.
Once you have reached desired texture, fold in prepared tomatoes, bacon, and chipotle peppers.
Season to taste with salt, pepper, and cumin. Serve with chips and veggies.
