Plan ahead and make beef brisket – it is wonderful the day it is made, but even better on succeeding days—hot or cold. And it freezes well, with no loss of flavor. Lastly, the Passover brownies, baked at a high temperature and cooled quickly in ice water, are crusty on the outside but smooth and creamy within.
